YouTube App for your Samsung Galaxy Tab
There’s a ton of videos on YouTube, now you can enjoy them on your Galaxy Tab with the official YouTube App for Android. The YouTube app has been under development for some time and was last updated in December. This release marks version 2.1.6. Features you will enjoy on this app include in-page playback wherein you can view the comments while watching the video, a new UI design that’s pleasing to the eye, personalized homescreen video feed, new player controls, and switch to full screen mode simply by rotating your tablet 90 degrees.
This amazing app will make viewing videos on YouTube more enjoyable. No more opening of your web browser and entering the site’s name, now you’ll be able to watch your favorite videos with one simple tap on your touchscreen.

YouTube used to work fine on my samsung galaxy tab (unrooted) until they integrated with Google. Now you have to download prior to watching. I used to be able to watch videos in HQ after selecting video. Now if I try to do the same, the video will stop playing after a minute or two, or part way. Not so convenient anymore. Thought at first my hardware or connection was to blame since YouTube couldn’t be bothered to explain that the changes they made were to blame. I don’t bother with it anymore. App is useless now.
