Vodafone launches Samsung Galaxy Tab on October 15 for their Residential and Corporate Clients

Samsung Galaxy Tab has received a worldwide recognition and people are talking about it in Social Networking Sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Galaxy Tab is now known to be the best tablet in the market today even better than Apple’s iPad. Reports have confirmed that you can now get this tablet through Vodafone for only €146 (US$200). Vodafone made this announcement during the first day of SIMO Network 2010 shortly after Alberto Ruiz Gallardon, Mayor of Madrid peeked and expressed his approval of the Galaxy Tab. Vodafone scheduled the tablet’s exclusive release on October 15^th.

Nacho Roman, Director of Terminals at Vodafone, in his opinion said that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will get its appeal to the public from its wide array of communication options and sophistication. Galaxy Tab’s Specification includes 7-inch glossy screen, weighs 380 grams, powered by Android 2.2 OS, 3 megapixel camera, video recording at 720p, and 1080p movie playback in all formats, on top of that it lets you rent movies 24hrs with Samsung Movies (http://www.samsungmobile.es/).

Vodafone’s commercial offer still remains unclear. It is said that they will have the Samsung Galaxy Tab exclusive for a month, which means no other operator will be launching the tablet while Vodafone’s consumers get their hands on it first. InSpain for instance, the carrier’s residential customers can get the tablet for 199 euros bundled with Gold Contigo Tarifa Internet for 49 euros per month. Business clients and freelancers can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab for €199 with the Flat Rate Internet Gold package for €49/month.

Vodafone is also proposing an additional fee of €10/month which will enable individuals to get Unlimited Internet Contigo @ €49/month plus a discounted Samsung Galaxy Tab @ €149.
