Great news for T-Mobile users! Leaked documentation just surfaced indicating T-Mobile will be cutting the price of their Samsung Galaxy Tab from the $349.99 to the new lower price of $249.99 on Wednesday. That’s a $100 savings for your Android device. This information is based on an internal T-Mobile memo, and it also states that a $50 mail-in rebate will be made public Wednesday.

In a surprise announcement Sprint slashed the price on the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Price drops were first initiated by Verizon when the carrier announced that they’ll be selling the 7-inch tablet PC for $499 only. Sprint joined in the bandwagon by slashing off their locked Galaxy Tab’s selling price to $299.

Verizon follows other carriers by decreasing the price to $499.

The showdown which has been predicted this holiday season between the Samsung Galaxy Tab and the Apple Ipad has just taken a new twist.  Maybe the Galaxy Tab is not selling as well as they had hoped for or perhaps this is just part of Samsung’s master plan to hamstring Apple but in a turn of events which is sure to shake up holiday shoppers the Galaxy Tab is now selling on Amazon and in Comet for only £399.99!

T-Mobile secretly slashed off prices for their Samsung Galaxy Tab and few other smartphones quite early. Their Galaxy Tab version now holds the cheapest amongst all US carriers if a contract is included. The device’s price dropped $50 and can now be availed for $350 locked. The Vibrant is now sold for $150 with contract.

Retailers have done a series of price chopping just to fairly match the Galaxy Tab to Apple’s 16GB 3G iPad.

Last September Amazon UK disclosed that they have lowered their pricing of the Samsung Galaxy Tab which was initially priced at £599.99 to £529.99. Just recently, Amazon confirmed that another price drop is going happen to Samsung’s Galaxy Tab.
