T-Mobile to follow Sprint on its Pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab

We reported yesterday that Sprint is offering $399 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab for a 2-year contract and additional $200 without. It is a bit pricey for a tablet PC but rumors spreading that it’s not only Sprint offering the Galaxy Tab for a costly amount.  A screenshot has been passed on at Tmo-News showing the T-Mobile USA’s offer of the Samsung Galaxy Tab and take note of the price, it’s the same amount and terms with Sprint’s offer with a 2-year contract @ $399 after $50 MIR, and $649 without.

Both wireless carriers T-Mobile and Sprint prices are the same so it is expected that AT&T and Verizon will probably adapt to he price disclosed by the other 2 but that remains to be seen until they officially announce it. If all four major carriers would follow the same price, most consumers think of it as a little extravagant.  The unlocked price of the tablet PC is higher than that of the Apple’s iPad but we guess Sprint and T-Mobile will have the 3G WiFi version so maybe then it’s fair enough.

We hope though that AT&T and Verizon will create their own set of pricing or at least cheaper than what the first two have disclosed. With just $200 difference on locked vs. unlocked one, I think people would prefer getting the tablet with no obligation whatsoever. What do you guys prefer?
