Steps on downloading and saving YouTube videos on the Samsung Galaxy Tab
Online videos are fantastic. They are accessible anytime, anywhere and they’re free of charge- most of the time. But sometimes when you are on the go and always on the road, connectivity becomes a problem and the videos that you love are becoming less accessible.
When connectivity or network coverage is turning out to be a hassle, it is easier to have the videos you want and you like to watch over and again stored straight into your device’s memory card. Good news for Samsung Galaxy Tab owners, saving YouTube videos is now very easy.
The guide below will give you steps on how to locate the video you want and download it straight to your device.
1. Navigate your phone’s browser to the YouTube video you want to download
2. Click on the video’s URL and use the Android Web browser to open it rather than the YouTube application
3. While in the browser, hit Menu and then Go To URL
Here’s where the magic happens.
4. The video’s URL should be in the URL field. Place your cursor directly after the “www.” and type in the word “pwn” before “youtube.com”
The resulting link should look something like “http://www.pwnyoutube.com/videocode”
5. Hit Enter
6. Simply tapping the Download High Quality MP4 Video option on this page will download the MP4 file directly to your SD card
After completing the steps above, you should have downloaded your most wanted video successfully. You can now watch it anytime without having to worry on coverage and signal strength.
