Series of price drop for the Samsung Galaxy Tab, an indication of what?

What we have conceived that will become the most expensive tablet PC in the market has just made its astonishing price drop in a matter of days after its release. The Galaxy Tab which was originally through to be at £650 is now sold for the cheapest at$469.

Retailers have done a series of price chopping just to fairly match the Galaxy Tab to Apple’s 16GB 3G iPad.

Few days after Amazon UK debuted the Galaxy Tab, they slashed off its pricing down to £480 and now for another price drop at £469. These looks now to be e the same pricing at Dixon’s, after they’ve made a series of price drop.

At this level, the device is certainly starting to look more enticing. It’s actually closer to the price of the 16GB wi-fi only iPad, which is £429, as opposed to its bigger 3G brother.

This price reduction some believed has something to do with the sales being slow-moving but to some, this is only a way of making room for the tablet PC, which iSuppli estimated to cost around 25% lesser than the iPad to create.

Samsung is strongly positive that they will hit the target sales number for the first two months of the Galaxy Tab in the market, a million they say? As a matter of fact, this is far from the iPad’s movement when it first hit the stores which was roughly a million per month.
