If you are already a registered user of TermWiki.com, you will automatically be entered into the Contest when you first sign into TermWiki.com after 12:00:00 a.m. UTC on September 17, 2010.
To enter the Contest, your computer must accept cookies, so that CSOFT is able to track your entries in the Contest.
Each time you access TermWiki.com, you can use the “Add term form” and the “Upload terms from Excel function” to add new source terms, and the “TermWiki Workbench” function to submit new term translations in any language to the website.
All new terms must:
be in English
must not be repeats of already existing terms
be original material
conform to TermWiki’s standard term format
All new term translations must:
be in any target language
must not be repeats of already existing translations
be a qualified, accurate translation
conform to TermWiki’s standard translation format
Participants may not enter with multiple emails and/or multiple identities, nor may entrants use any automated entry mechanism or artifice to obtain more than one prize. Any participant who attempts to participate with multiple emails and/or multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to obtain more than one prize will be automatically disqualified. By submitting term entries, each participant acknowledges his or her understanding of and compliance with these rules.
The Participant who enters the most original terms and/or translations before 11:59:00 p.m. UTC on October 31, 2010 will be declared the winner and will receive the Grand Prize (listed below).
Term entries are counted towards your total term count based on the following criteria:
New terms must be in English
Terms must not be repeats of already existing terms
Terms should be original, accurate material
Terms must conform to TermWiki’s standard term format
Translations can be in any target language.
Translations must not be repeats of already existing translations.
Translations be qualified, accurate translations.
Translations must confirm to TermWiki’s standard translation format.
After 11:59:00 p.m. UTC on October 31, 2010, a select group of CSOFT Judges (“Judges”) will begin to evaluate the terms and translations that all Participants have entered into TermWiki.com. The Judges have the final say in what qualifies as a “qualified term” or “qualified translation,” though they will take user rating votes into account.
In the unlikely event that there is a tie between two or more Participants, the tied Submissions will be re-judged by the Judges based on the criteria stated above. The selection of the winner will be made based on which Participant entered the most terms earlier on during the Contest Period.
Participants agree that CSOFT has the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from this Contest, and that all decisions of CSOFT are final and binding. Finalists, by acceptance of the prize listed below agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless CSOFT, as well as each of its respective parent and affiliated companies, and each of its employees, representatives, contractors, advertisers and sponsors from any and all liability, loss, damage, cost or claim relate to any allegation regarding the acceptance or use of their prize, including but not limited to the public release of submitted information.
The Winner will be notified via e-mail no sooner than November 10, 2010.
One (1) Grand Prize:
The Grand Prize consists of one 16 GB Samsung Galaxy Tab.
