NVIDIA Chip could be Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 next GPU according to Analyst
We hear gossips about the Galaxy Tab 2; however it’s not really as loud as rumors for other tablet devices that will also be soon released. This, though, is more than likely to change as Samsung draws near to its releasing date for their next version of their tablet. And there is one specific rumor that just can’t seem to die, and it has something to do with NVIDIA. There’s even a semiconductor analyst who is offering his own opinion in this situation.
The analyst’s name is Ambrish Srivastava, who is from BMO Capital Markets. Not long ago, he paid a visit to 30 different companies who all focused on the tech market. After which, he was able to determine that NVIDIA will be putting the Tegra 2 processors in many soon-to-come gadgets. However, this is really not a very big deal today because there had already been speculations in the past that NVIDIA is going to push through with lots of gadgets with their Tegra 2. The real news here is that there’s a big possibility that the next version of the Galaxy Tab will be getting an NVIDIA chip in it.
So you can really ask yourself here why Samsung is possibly going with NVIDIA when they have their very own Hummingbird processor running on 1GHz, and it’s a dual-core nonetheless.
