It has been expected that Samsung would sooner or later compete in the tablet market division with its Galaxy S devices. Gary Twohig, manager of Samsung Mobile for Ireland branch, has now confirmed this. It is likely that the 10-inch Galaxy Tab, Apple’s fierce rival against their iPad, will be pre-installed with the operating system Android 3.0 also known as Gingerbread. And according to IFA, additional smaller Galaxy Tab gadgets are being manufactured right now as we speak. The smaller Galaxy Tabs are categorized in between the Galaxy lineup of phones and the 7-inch tablets that are soon to be released.
