Fry Offers Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi Only Version For Only $350
The Samsung Galaxy Tab just got cheaper – A $350 Galaxy Tab is now available for pre-order at Fry’s Electronics. This is a WiFi only version of the original Samsung Galaxy Tab, so there will be no carrier charges from Sprint or Verizon. This is good news for anyone who wants to use their Galaxy Tab within range of a wifi network or hotspot, but since this device can’t connect to the 3G network users will not be able to send SMS text messages or make phone calls. The rest of the features of the $350 Galaxy Tab unit remain intact, so cost conscious users can enjoy their touchscreen tablet without worrying about the monthly bills. You will get a 7 inch crystal clear touchscreen display, Android 2.2 OS (Froyo), 16GB storage, Flash 10.1 support, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 3MP rear camera with flash and auto focus, 1.3MP front camera for video chat, and 4,000mAh of battery capacity.
This is yet another great deal of the Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi only version. There is still no news on the release date will be at the moment but we’ll keep you posted. Would you rather have a 3G version of the Galaxy Tab or would you be happy to save a few buck with wifi? Please post your comments below.

You mean you can't send sms or do a voice call on the wifi-only version?
I'd rather buy the 3G one. I'd like to use mine as a mobile phone, even if it costs more.
But that's just me
