Financial Times to launch first Android app for Samsung Galaxy Tab
Samsung Galaxy Tab is granting users an access via embedded app a fully optimized version of the Financial Times.
The managing director of FT.com, Rob Grimshaw expressed their happiness regarding the launch of their first Android and HTML5 based app with the Galaxy Tab by Samsung. “Our readers have already exhibited great desire for consuming our news and analysis on tablet devices and Galaxy tab is another very exciting channel for FT content”, he added.
WH Smith confirmed to provide ebooks for the Galaxy Tab just like deal with the Samsung E60 ebook reader. Samsung’s partnership with WH Smith continued from Samsung’s smartphones to its tablet PC.
“WH Smith is happy and excited to announce this partnership with Samsung, we’re assured that the combined bookselling expertise and electronics innovation results in eBooks App that will really add value and meet all the reading needs of the Galaxy Tab owners”, stated Toby Keir, Head of Digital, WHSmith.
All work no play? It doesn’t sound healthy. Exciting news is that all Galaxy Tab users can play some of Gameloft’s best mobile titles, you heard it right, and they are bringing it in to the platform.
There will be two big games that are set for the launch which will be on November 1st; including N.O.V.A or Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance HD and racing game Asphalt 5 HD. These games are fully maximized for the tablet’s 7-inch screen.
