Another Slash on Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Tab Price

It’s only the first quarter of the so called “Year of the Tablets” and the battle for specs and price superiority is already heating up. Here’s some news that will blow you away, remember back in February when Verizon dropped their price of Samsung Galaxy Tab to $299.99? Well, now they’re slashing it another $100.. feast your eyes on the new $199.99 price tag for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Just to be clear, this price tag is still bundled with a 2 year contract, but knowing tablet fans today I’m sure they’re not going to let this opportunity of owning one heck of a technology at a price this low slip away. The first Samsung Galaxy Tab is a very impressive tablet for its time. It can do almost all of the tasks you can perform on a regular computer. It’s very portable, having only 7 inches of screen size which many find very convenient to hold with just one hand, it has a very long battery life, Wi-Fi connectivity or use 3G network, you can use your microSD card for extra storage, and a whole bunch more of cool features.

Even with a catch of a 2 year contract, $199.99 is still an unbelievably low price to pay for an android tablet with this many features. And with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 release date looming, this Verizon teaser will definitely encourage many tablet fans to take the plunge.
