Almost there! Big Possibility that Samsung might choose Tegra 2 to be used for their Galaxy Tab 2
It seems that NVIDIA’s fighting and seducing positively resulted in favor for the company. A Few analysts believed that the company’s dual core Tegra 2 is beating all other tablet processors and is the closest to become the Galaxy Tab 2’s processor. We have witnessed this to have increased the lever for smartphone silicon in the LG Star causing tension slate after slate; however, Citigroup’s Glen Yeung stated that Samsung has made quite a substantial number of orders with NVIDIA for Tegra 2 chips in the first half of next year for both tablets and smartphones.
BMO Capital Markets analyst Ambrish Srivastava expects that the Galaxy Tab will be one of Samsung’s devices to use the chips, despite the company’s ability to create their own dual-core chip. The basis for companies as large as Samsung to patronize Tegra 2 is intriguing, if, in fact, this is real. Glen Yeung also added that Google is making Tegra the source model or basis for Honeycomb or Android 3.0. Tegra’s bright future in the tablet market is one successful act, but most importantly, we hope that consumers will be making wise choices too.
